We often have guests at Finca Pereila who are also looking for their dream home and a new life in the sunny South of Spain. The pandemic, high energy prices, sky-high house prices in Northern Europe. The hustle and bustle make the more relaxed life in Southern Spain more attractive.

Now with more and more people being able to predominantly work online, this is a dream becoming attainable to many more people, take the first step to a new adventure with us. Of course we understand this very well and with our own experiences and our work experience in real estate we can help you with your search. We have both worked in real estate on the coast and we both have a preference for inland houses. We know the environment, we speak the languages, we have the right contacts, we know the procedures and the legislation.

WE SELL FINCA PEREILA

We have been renting the finca since January 2020, but the owner wants to sell the finca.

Because we cannot buy the finca ourselves and also because we have other plans for the future, we help the owner to sell this beautiful finca.

The site is 2,411 m2

Built area is approximately 185 m2

The finca has a lovely large and deep swimming pool of 8x5m and grounds of more than 2000 m2 located in a valley next to a river and in a beautiful historic area with old mills, a picturesque bridge and a chapel above the finca. Very quiet area in the middle of nature and yet close to civilization and all the highlights. An 8 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the typical Andalusian town of Coín which has everything you need, 30 minutes from the coast and iconic Marbella and a 40 minute drive to Málaga and Málaga Airport.

The house is located on a higher ground and consists of a high living room of 3.5×8 m with a mezzanine of 3.5×3.5 m, where you can easily stand, a bathroom of 3×1.5 m with toilet and shower and a separate kitchen of 3×5 m. The house has a spacious covered terrace (a kind of veranda) of 9x4m, overlooking the swimming pool and the grounds.

There are several terraces where you can relax. In southern Spain you also live outside almost all year round.

In addition to the living area, there are 2 large bedrooms upstairs of 30m2 with an ensuite bathroom located on a large room that is now used as a communal room for dining and as an art/yoga studio. On the ground floor, built against the house, there is a ‘casita’, also with its own bathroom. Further on the site there was a wooden house with its own bathroom that can be rebuilt.
On the grounds near the swimming pool area there is an attractive bar with an outdoor kitchen and an outdoor shower. The site has many orange and tangerine trees and a few avocado trees, including 1 enormous avocado tree, good for its own avocados all year round. There are some beautiful palm trees, yuccas, a pomegranate bush and many mature plants and shrubs. Because the finca is located next to a river, many plants and trees remain green all year round and there are always plants in bloom. The site has enough space with fertile soil to grow your own vegetables and you can keep some animals, such as chickens, goats or pigs. There is a fenced area with a stable.
A 5-minute walk away, located above the finca, you will find the beautiful chapel ‘La ermita de la Señora de la Fuensanta’ and the romería grounds, where the romería (a traditional festival) takes place every year in early June and there are many hiking trails from the finca.
This finca is perfectly suitable for a B&B (currently it is a successful guesthouse) and/or a location for organizing retreats; the permits are already in place. Due to the nice sunny climate, there are tourists in the province of Málaga all year round and the finca is in a perfect location to visit all the highlights.
But if you just want to live here in a nice and quiet area, that is of course also possible.

Not all buildings are registered in the papers and the finca does not have an AFO. Therefore, the finca is more suitable for buyers who do not need financing.
There is water from its own source (there is always water in the source), electricity and WiFi.
All rooms have air conditioning for cooling and heating.

You can stay with us as a guest in the finca and come with us househunting at the same time. Because you have intensive and personal contact with us during your stay, we can respond even better to your wishes and it is of course practical to have very direct contact with your purchasing broker.

When you buy a home with us, your stay will be for free and we donate 2.5% of our commission to a charity of your choice: the donkey shelter or the pig shelter, both in Mijas. Since we are very busy with the B&B in the summer, it is better to come house hunting with us in the mid- and low season.
